Towering in scale, stitched together and bearing a skull-like face, our Bear challenges the viewer’s instinct to feel safe. It’s meant to protect, yet its presence is haunting.
This work invites reflection on the things we’re told will keep us safe, and how those same things can sometimes feel threatening. Created in a moment of emotional clarity, the painting captures that tension in a single, striking image. It is a statement piece, one that balances innocence and menace in a way that lingers.

The painting will be titled, signed, and dated on the back of the canvas. The sides will be painted black, and the stretched canvas will be packed safely into a box and shipped to you.
